12 must-have items to help with the unexpected on your wedding day

April 14, 2017

It’s almost time to walk down the aisle. You’re nervous. Everyone’s watching you. All of a sudden you feel a tug on your veil, someone stepped on it! Oh no! You start panicking, everyone is flustered. Don’t be the bride without the paced emergency kit for when stuff goes wrong. Because let’s be honest, something is bound to go wrong.

Here’s what you need:

  1. Travel first aid kit – You’ll never know when someone needs a band aid
  2. Advil/Ibuprofen – An anti-inflammatory will be the helpful hand you need if someone twists an ankle walking in those bridesmaid shoes or gets a headache before the ceremony.
  3. Snacks – Pack a couple high-carb or a couple high-protein snacks just in case you or your bridesmaids are feeling weak before you walk down the aisle.
  4. Mints/Gum – Mint’s provide sugar if you’re feeling low and they also help with fresh breath!
  5. Hairspray – Helps with more than just holding your hair in place! Can stop runs in stockings or even makeup malfunctions.
  6. Kleenex – For all those teary-eyed moments.
  7. Makeup remover – You never know when you’ll need to wipe away smudged lipstick or mascara.
  8. Fashion tape – Probably the biggest savor in this kit. Double sided super strong & sweat proof tape will fix any wedding dress or bridesmaid dress blunders.
  9. Deodorant – Do we even need to explain why?
  10. Straws – Because no one wants to ruin their lipstick on the big day.
  11. Phone chargers – Yes, multiple phone chargers, because who wants to have a dead phone when they have the most instagram worthy picture to post!
  12. List – List all vendors & important people with their contact info and why they’re important! Just in case someone other than you needs to get ahold of them.

Definitely assemble this kit with everything you think you’ll need (even stuff we didn’t list) a few days before the ceremony. Tell everyone that’s important on the big day where it is! Most importantly don’t forget it, it’s no use to anyone if it’s left at home or in the car!
